ONLY ONE TREE
Solo Exhibition by Iwahori Teruyo

Ma Tiantian born in Beijing, China graduated from North Industrial University , Major in Advertising. work in the creative department of Lintas advertising company as writer and group 2008.
She is founder of the online magazine HiLow Magazine
Now she lives and works in Beijing.
INTERVIEW WITH ANDRE WIJAYA
What do you like the most about working with Nicoline Patricia?
She's very talented and hardworking as a photographer. As her assistant we can learn many things from her. The philosophy of how you see around you. She told me to shoot with your heart, you should rely on your heart and eyes, photography equipment is just a medium to make your idea become visible, so you can show people around you what's inside your head. An expensive camera isn't the secret ingredient, what lies inside of you that makes a great picture.
What makes you fall in love with fashion in the first place?
The beauty of it.
On most of your pic you use raw-minimalist lighting, what's the deal with that?
Simplicity.
Describe your process to create a new piece?
I look for inspiration from movies, books, magazines, and simply things that I see everyday. Then I take my camera and start to shoot.
What does it take to make an ideal work for you?
A good team.
Kazakhstan, sounds good huh.
It's my dream to go to exotic places. I've never been to that place, completely fictional! Haha.
What's your criteria for a model?
Young, skinny, and fun. Maybe a little bit crazy can make them perfect
I saw your work "Lady of The Forest", tell us a bit more about that project?
It was a portfolio project with my friend Rajasa Pramesywara. His concept is a greek goddess. Actually we planned to have a photoshoot around afternoon but because one and another thing we can not make it. So we shoot when the sun already down, and the lighting we got just a flashlight and a hotshoe flash on camera. But I like the result, even though it's minimal light, we've made good result.
What was the best thing you did last year?
Travelling around Indonesia with Nicoline Patricia and her team.
Heart and eyes
If someone gave you $1.000.000. what would you do?
Traveling around the world
What's next for Andre Wiredja?
I'm planning to have an exhibition. But still working on it.

INDIA ANNO 85, 30 PHOTO LIGHT BOXES
EXHIBITION : INDIA ANNO 85, 30 photo light boxes by Mie Cornoedus
This exhibition is just a tiny sample of the photo’s I took. I tried to capture what contrasted most to my own cultural baggage, and scenes that tugged at my emotions, often in different directions simultaneously.
These images are nearly 25 years old, and when compared with my more recent work from India, they still seemed relevant. India is among the fastest growing nations and cultures in the word, and somehow, at this visual level, development and change doesn’t strike evenly. To mark distance in time, I was led to reflect on the changes in technology at the hands of the photographer that more than the motives themselves set old and new photos apart.

1985-1986 I spent traveling through India. It was my first big journey, and my eyes were opened to the diversity and beauty that exists “out there”, in the world.
India has an endless supply of color and wonderful, often bizarre, compositions. Photography becomes such a limited medium of expression as India, more than any place I have seen, is so much more than what meets the eye. The smells and sounds are an integral part of the traveling experience, and capturing the atmosphere using only a visual expression is what I find compelling about photography.

PRESENTASI MES 56 #3: MINTIO (SINGAPORE)
Demikianlah, inilah Mintio
Selamat menikmati perkenalan, pengalaman dan bertukar ilmu.
Enjoy!
